“Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back” VHS wall hanging

One of my favorite customers ordered "The Empire Strikes Back" for his brother for Christmas.

While watching it I was struck by the lavender haze all throughout the movie. I thought about Taylor Swift's song "Lavender Haze" and how that expression means to be surrounded by the feeling of love.

I thought about duality, the dark and light aspects of the film. I thought about love as a shield that doesn't allow violence and war to penetrate it.

The orange neon lines represent the shots fired by the dark side, but they stop short of that lavender strip, they can't penetrate it.

I don't know how that fits in with other Star Wars interpretations, I don't know much about it :)
