Anthony Bertram is a Tucson-based artist who specializes in oil pastel & digital art. He draws inspiration through our universal human ability to see faces in everything, a phenomenon known as Pareidolia. He finds his process is most at flow with less preparation, allowing the faces to come through as we naturally see them through the canvas. Anthony has honed his craft working in human / character subject matter for over 20 years but has specialized in oil pastel for the last 3. When not occupied with art, Anthony enjoys going to the movies with his long-time girlfriend & listening to music from bands such as Provoker, The Strokes & Brutalismus 3000.
