🧶RAG RUG WORKSHOP🧶

As hard as it is to believe, the weather is gonna get cozy soon! And I’ve got the perfect autumnal workshop for you: RAG RUGS.

This workshop is great for beginners and those who want to try weaving to see how they like it before investing in their own equipment. No experience necessary!

I’ll set the looms up, so all you’ll have to do is show up with your scraps and a pumpkin spice latte, and we’ll get to work! You will leave with your very own finished rag rug.

Rag rugs are a great way to use up scraps, textile waste, and sentimental cloth items that don’t serve their original purpose anymore. For example you could make a rug out of the clothes your baby outgrew, or your grandmother’s linens. Even plastic bags will work fine. Whatever feels good to you.

You can also make your piece into a wall-hanging and never step foot on it! I will have dowels available.
